M. Braude - Gifts of Africa is a famiily run business based in, Pretoria, South Africa and was establsihed in it's current form in 1984. It's roots go back to 1940, when it started as a general dealer based in Bronkhorstpruit. The business originally sold glass beads and other products to the people in the region.

Today, it represents a group of Ndebele women bead artists from the rural areas and Male Zimbabwean wire artists. We supply beaded and wire art crafts to curio shops around Southern Africa, as well as to the international market. All orders received, benefit our crafters, enabling them to earn an income to support their families and themselves.
